Join us on Friday 10 October (World Homeless Day) to learn more about Emmaus Hull & East Riding and the local support available to people who experience homelessness.
On World Homeless Day, we will be opening our doors and inviting guests to tour our residential community home and social enterprise. You’ll have the chance to meet our team, see inside The Orchard, our 30-bedroom community home, and speak to people about their journeys out of homelessness.
Within this event, you will also have the chance to visit our adjacent Superstore, part of our social enterprise. Our team will be on hand to explain how our social enterprise sustains our community and gives valuable development opportunities to the people we support.
Hope after homelessness
Emmaus Hull & East Riding provides a home, tailored support, training and work opportunities to people who have experienced homelessness. In addition to our residential community in Hull, we also deliver an outreach service, providing direct support to people who are homeless in the East Riding.
This event is open to our network of partners, business supporters and those working for organisations engaged in homelessness support and housing. Limited free tickets are available for two one-hour slots (11am – 12pm and 1pm – 2pm). Each slot will include opportunities for you to chat and network, with drinks, lunch and refreshments available between 12pm and 1pm.
For those yet to visit our residential community, World Homeless Day 2025 is the perfect opportunity to see behind the scenes, meet our team and learn more about our work. It’s also a chance to see how your organisation and positive partnerships can make a difference in helping people move on from homelessness for good.
