About this event
EMOTIONAL AWARENESS WORKSHOP
Many teens and young adults with emotional dysregulation, stress, anxiety, and depression, are visual learners. They want to find happiness, while emotions are an overwhelming 'concept'. When neurodivergent brains only process visual information effectively - How can we help them SEE their world of Hidden Emotions?
We will be looking at this emotional cycle diagram (picuted in the header) with an interactive session so have pen & paper ready.
This 4 hour workshop will help you use this simple tool, for supporting their emotions, language, and learning ability, to be able to open up and talk about their emotions.
Let's put the power back into supporting these amazing young people and gift them the power of positive change.
Limited to 6 people per workshop - book now!
WHO IS IT FOR?
This online workshop is perfect for anyone looking to introduce themselves to emotional awareness, to connect with teens and young adults, or disadvantaged adults, on a deeper level.
Perfect for self-learning, educational staff, charity staff, workplace support, therapists, and for parenting teens. Read below for more breakdown on how this could help you...
THERAPISTS, LIFE-COACHES, MENTORS, TRAINERS
For therapists, life coaches, and those supporting teenagers or young adults one to one, there is often a gap where they find it difficult to connect with their own emotions, making it diffifult to open up to you from session one.
Now you can help them access their emotional language quickly, to work alongside your regular therapy models.
EDUCATIONAL STAFF, TEACHERS, PASTORAL CARE, HEAD TEACHERS
As with parenting and therapy - teachers, head teachers, and other educational staff, often find talking to teenagers difficult around emotions. When there are only seconds at times to catch a quiet word, or check in on a quiet student, this strategy is helpful in understanding them through empathy skills, which come naturally with this Emotional Awareness strategy.
LEADERSHIP SKILLS, BUSINESS OWNERS, TEAM LEADERS, MANAGERS
If you ever find yourself thinking you manage people more than you manage your business, this course will be highly valuable for you too. Just as with teachers above, you ofen have seconds to minutes, to resolve emotional issues with staff and clients. Understanding emotions enables quicker problem solving, and better planning. this workshop is a fantastic start to learnign these essential soft-skills.
