Emotional intelligence: how to have the conversations teams often avoid

Overview

High-pressure working can lead to a lack of vital communication. Understanding the emotions of your team can help keep things on track.

The way a founder handles pressure has a direct influence on how a team communicates. Rapid change and competing demands make honest conversations harder, as people hold back even when clarity is needed most. Emotional intelligence helps founders understand what their team is experiencing and create conditions where people feel safe to speak openly.

This webinar introduces the emotional intelligence skills that sit beneath effective communication. We’ll cover:

• The emotional skills many teams are missing, so they avoid difficult conversations

• How to spot the signs that could influence trust, pace and performance

• Ways to respectfully bring unspoken tension into the open

• How emotional confidence supports clearer decisions and stronger alignment

This session offers practical insight you can apply straight away to help your team speak more openly and work with greater clarity. It’ll be followed by a Q&A session.

If you can’t join live, we’ll send the recording to everyone who registers so you can catch up anytime.

We look forward to welcoming you.
