Description

Brunch Club Leadership Forum

Discover your Emotional Intelligence and Connect with other Learning & Development or HR Professionals

28th September 2017
One Duke Street, Richmond

http://no1adukestreet.co.uk

The Brunch Forum is aimed at Learning & Development or HR professionals keen to develop emotionally intelligent leaders and create a climate of Emotional Intelligence within their organisation. The brunch will focus on how to get buy-in with Senior Leaders to ensure that leadership development in Emotional Intelligence becomes a strategic priority.

We believe that in order to really understand what Emotional Intelligence is, you need to become aware of your own strengths and development areas in this subject. Without this it will be difficult to influence senior stakeholders and get the engagement that is needed to invest in this area. Therefore the aim of this Forum will be to:

  1. Understand your own Emotional Intelligence
  2. Understand how take your learnings and make this a strategic people priority within your organisation
  3. Understand what steps you can take to develop a climate of Emotional Intelligence

During the Forum you will receive a report on how you can develop your own dimensions of Emotional Intelligence such as personal power, emotional resilience, emotional expression, conflict handling and awareness of yourself and others. This will support you to grow and develop as a Leader in HR or Learning & Development.

To support all of this, Amanda Wildman will share her own award winning leadership strategies that she successfully created and implemented during her time as Global Head of Learning & Development at Morgan McKinley and as Head of Talent & Leadership at the BBC.

Finally, you will be encouraged to share thoughts, ideas and inspiration with other Learning & Development and HR professionals.

You will leave the event with:

  • A clear picture of how you can create greater impact as a leader by getting a snapshot into your own Emotional Intelligence. The Snapshot measurement tool is a scientifically validated and industry recognised self-assessment questionnaire that has been shown to improve performance.
  • A personalised report (based on the results of the Emotional Intelligence Snapshot assessment completed prior to the event).
  • Award winning EI strategies presented by Amanda Wildman
  • The opportunity to connect with other successful leaders responsible for driving Learning and Development initiatives within their organisation

Emotionally-i-Fit (www.emotionally-i-fit.com) is owned and run by Amanda Wildman, former BBC Head of Talent & Leadership. She has delivered large scale transformational programmes for people and teams within the BBC, Cielo Talent and Morgan McKinley.

She is passionate about sharing her experience and inspiration to help others effect long term change using the tools of Emotional Intelligence.

We are keen to expand our reach. Could you help us spread the word about this and future events? If so, please send this Eventbrite link to HR or Learning & Development professionals and leaders in your network who may be interested.

We have 15 spaces for our initial event on an invitation only and first come first serve basis.

Amanda has been working with A+E Networks since 2016, through senior leadership and team workshops as well as individual coaching. She has helped to develop leadership capability in areas of trust, conflict handling, emotional resilience and personal power. I have personally attended a number of these workshops and even though I believe I am hugely self aware, I left the workshop with a number of enlightening insights about myself and my personal emotional triggers both professionally and personally. I had some tangible actions that I have been able to put into practice since the event that have had a direct impact on my performance. Amanda understands the importance of leadership to drive corporate success and has a myriad of tools and models that can be used and applied to address the particular human challenges teams and leaders face as part of their corporate evolution. Amanda is also an inspiring and positive person to work with, showing real passion for her work, I recommend her services.
