An introduction to Emotional Intelligence
Intelligence Quotient (IQ) is a long-established and credible measure of logical capability. However, since the early part of the 20th century, psychologists and academics have challenged the assumption that a strong logical reasoning capability is the only effective human intelligence.
This workshop introduces Emotional Intelligence. EI is a shorthand phrase for different aspects of an individual - they are concerned with managing themselves and in managing relationships with other people.
Attendees will discover:
The EI components of the human brain
The differences and connections between Emotions, Feelings and Attitudes
How to measure EI and interpret Diagnostic Profiles
How to develop EI
Steve Farmer is our guest speaker. He is a management and leadership training specialist at The Reality Business.
