Emotional Resilience Workshop

Emotional resilience is an essential set of skills that allows us to deal with pressurising situations at work and in our home lives to reduce our stress levels. During this Emotional Resilience Workshop delegates will have a deeper understanding of the causes of stress and how it effects the mind and body. This workshop will look in depth at stress, triggers and help you to identify your own. This personalises the training for everyone allowing you to work on your own challenges and changing the way you look at stressful situations through rational thoughts. You will be introduced to Wells' Attention Training Technique (ATT) which has been very successful in reducing stress, anxiety and depression. You will learn how to be more self compassionate to build resilience and how to manage strong emotions and impulses. A strong element of this Emotional Resilience training is based on psychology and Neuroscience which we believe is critical in developing resilience.

Learning Objectives

· Explore the connection between emotional health and resilience and consider wny we need resilience

· Assess your resilience traits

· Introduce the keys to resilience - the knowledge, behaviours and skills which can enhance our resilience

· Recognise the indicators of stress and identify sources of support

· Identify practical steps we can take to build resilience

· Build a personalised action plan
