Emotional Resilience - Course Overview

Emotional Resilience is an essential skill that allows people to deal with pressurising situations at work by giving them the tools to reduce their stress levels. Work-related stress, depression or anxiety accounted for 11.3 million lost working days, this on average is 23 days per case. On this Emotional Resilience course in Cardiff you will be introduced to Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT), which teaches how to identify, challenge and replace self-defeating thoughts and beliefs with healthier thoughts. REBT has been very successful in reducing stress levels but also has additional benefits of improving problem solving skills through rational thoughts in difficult circumstances.

Understanding the causes of a person's stress is key to reducing it, on this course we look in depth at stress triggers. This personalises the course for each individual allowing them to work on their own issues and how to look at their situation rationally. A strong element of this Emotional Resilience course is based on psychology foundation which we believe is critical in developing a person's resilience.
