Emotional Safety (ResilientMe)- Birmingham
Tue 13 June 2017, 09:30 – 15:30 BST
ResilientMe is a ground-breaking approach to developing a deep emotional Resilience, by first defining and measuring then exploring, your existing skills!
This 1-day workshop takes you first into your Emotional Needs to reveal what it is that drives your emotions each day. Then into the 10 social emotional skills you have developed so far in your life, to look at how you manage emotional experiences during difficult times, and what you do to cope with emotional experiences day by day.
This is a journey of deep personal insight, based upon you defining, exploring and then examining your own processes and building blocks within Resilience. We are lifting the lid for you to look inside and learn about yourself.
Who should attend?
Employees working in front-line, high intensity working environments – where emotions run high and stress may have become a constant companion! Working in environments where emotions run high, the pressure of work is high, or the threat of physical abuse is very real, forces employees into a state of emotional distress – which over time has a detrimental effect on individuals and their families.
This workshop forms part of our national Emotional Safety Programme, which is dedicated to supporting employers to address un-healthy levels of workplace stress and trauma. ResilientMe is a robust 1st stage in the learning and development process provided within the programme.
