Learn about the competencies needed to become your company's go-to person for Customer Experience.

Based on the CCXP competencies defined by the CXPA

In principle, Customer Experience is simple. Doing it, however, is not. So helping the business to have the right mindset and do the right things takes confidence, perseverance and resiliance.

As an Authorised Trainer by the Customer Experience Professional's Association (CXPA) I will take you through the six competencies they have defined and which are tested in the accreditation process to become a Certified Customer Experience Professional (CCXP), namely

o Culture – nurturing and maintaining a customer-centric corporate mindset
o Strategy – giving clear direction about how to treat customers and alignment of the business divisions
o Insight – an empathetic understanding customers to know what to change and why
o Measurement – using the right metrics, linking them to commercial results
o Innovation – collaborate to find improvements and create differentiation
o Governance – organise and prioritise activity with clear accountabilities.

We'll also look at lessons learned from those who've been there and done it in the gritty day-to-day reality of being a CX professional.

If you're new to Customer Experience the competencies will show you where you need to focus your efforts and development plan. The aim is they will also give you plenty of food for thought about the things you can do (or avoid) back at base. If you're more experienced, the competencies show you what the CXPA will be looking for if you were to seek the formal CCXP qualification.
