Description

Employability, Diversity and Equal Opportunities

There are still many social and cultural barriers which prevent the UK Job market from being as diverse and inclusive as it could be. In this activity, Passion4Social will host a range of guest speakers who will give their take on employability from their differing perspectives: disability, LGBTQ+, refugees, immigrants, and more.

Learning outcomes: At the end of each 10-minute presentation, the speakers will invite the audience to contribute their views and experiences. Your participation is essential if we are to create a fairer job market in the UK.

We have to come together to break down the barriers to employment and advocate equal opportunities for everyone!

Confirmed guests:

Ahlam Souidi – Freedom From Torture | Perspective: Refugees and Asylum Seekers

Barbara Haig – Social Bite | Perspective: Homelessness

Paul Skovron - 3in Consulting | Perspective: LGBT+

TBD | Perspective: HR from for-profit companies

TBC | Perspective: Disabilities
