Employability event: CVs and Interviews

Save the date: Join us for an interactive afternoon of learning how to improve and write CVs and covering letters, specifically targeted for Human Rights Organisations. The session will also aim to give you vital tips for interviews and how to stand out from the crowd!
Esther Major, Consultant for WHO, and former Researcher/Advisor at Amnesty International will be joining us to give you crucial recruitment tips – don’t miss out!
Esther Major worked at the International Bar Association's Human Rights Institute for 9 years managing programmes and projects related to the rule of law, independence of the judiciary and the prevention and eradication of torture and other ill-treatment. She subsequently worked as a Research on Central America in Amnesty International's regional programme for 6 years, focussing mainly on violence against women, sexual and reproductive rights, torture and other ill-treatment, as well as justice for past human rights violations. Esther went on to work as an advisor and researcher in the policy and law programme for Amnesty International for 3 years, before becoming a consultant, most recently working for the World Health Organisation.
