Baillie Gifford, the Edinburgh-based global investment management company, has partnered with the School of History, Classics or Archaeology to offer a specialist employability skills workshop for students who might be interested in their careers beyond history, classics or archaeology.
The workshop will be led by staff at Baillie Gifford (who are history and arts/humanities graduates) and seeks to help students identify skills transferable to the wider professional world and to judge the attractiveness of fund management as a career option. It will assist in helping identify the skills that studying History, Classics or Archaeology at university gives to a corporate career.
Pizza, tea and coffee will be available for all attendees.
The workshop is open to all third and fourth year undergraduates, as well as all postgraduate students. Numbers are limited so please reserve your place by 10th October.
