Event description

Description

A fascinating discussion led by Mari Probin on what employee engagement is and the practical applications within the workplace. You will go away with some hints and tips to engage the workforce of the 21st century!

Mairi Probin works with organisations, big and small, to help them connect with their employees and develop a more engaged business. Mairi’s clients include Warburtons, Together Money, Jackson Lees and a range of other businesses.

Different businesses require different things and, by listening to people throughout the business, Mairi helps to develop a practical strategy to make a real difference through communication, leadership, listening, recognition and the other building blocks of engagement.

No matter what your business is, it is the people in it who determine its success: This ensures that the people who make the biggest difference can effectively deliver the business plan in a positive, engaged culture where people are happy to come to work!

Previously, Mairi headed up the Engagement agenda at Iceland Foods for 4 years, guiding them to the title of the ‘Sunday Times Best Big Company to work for in the UK’ twice, in 2012 and 2014.

Outside of work, Mairi is a committed Preston North End season ticket holder!

Registration for the event is at 6pm with the event starting at 6.30pm and finishing at 8pm. Please contact the organiser with any dietary requirements as light refreshments will be available.
