Employer Ambassador Training to Support SEND Employment Forums

This practical training session is designed for Employer Ambassadors, supporting their collaboration with SEND Employment Forums to champion and promote Supported Internship opportunities to a wide range of employers. You will learn how to:

• Communicate the benefits of a Supported Internship to the SEND Employment Forum and employers
• Effectively collaborate with the SEND Employment Forum to promote Supported Internships
• Work with the SEND Employment Forum to engage with a variety of employers
• Navigate a toolkit of resources to help you to promote Supported Internships, strengthen employer engagement and develop action plans.

By the end of the session, you’ll have the tools and confidence to strengthen employer engagement and expand opportunities for young people with SEND.
