Organiser Safe Space Consultancy

Organiser of Employer Awareness: What is Domestic Abuse?(CPD)

My name is Julie Johns MBE and I created Safe Space Consultancy in 2015 in response to identifying the need for domestic abuse support for professional working people. Previous to 2015, I co-founded and managed a domestic abuse charity in Bournemouth and directly supported survivors of domestic abuse as a frontline practitioner for 10 years. During this time I also co-created Safer Relationship Programmes for Children into Schools and Healthy Relationship Programmes for Young People. Through Safe Space training and consultancy I am able to empower employers and employees to confidently address and disclose domestic abuse safely and appropriately, ensuring the workplace is a supportive environment and indeed a Safe Space for anyone who may be experiencing domestic abuse.
