Find out about support for your business, supporting your wellbeing agenda for employees juggling care for a family member and work.

    About this event

Find out about services available to assist your business or organisation to make a positive wellbeing agenda that supports employees who are juggling work with care and support responsibilities for family members who are ill, older or disabled, or who are unable to care for themselves.

Recent survey suggests 1 in 4 employees are currently juggling work and care. That's a staggering 25% of your workforce.

Employers are already supporting staff who are juggling work with care and support responsibilities. Our aim is to guide you on the best ways to assist your employees and to consider what support would benefit your business.

Our quarterly employers forum- specifically for businesses and organisations in Kirklees- is committed to making a difference for carers and their employers. Our round table approach opens up opportunities to share best practices, access awareness training for managers and new starters as well as understand carers' needs which in turn will help retain talented employees. Saving your business unnecessary expense and loss of productivity.

Join us to discuss working carers and share the support you offer in your organisation, best practices and challenges in a productive and safe place. Making change is never easy but if not: Who cares for the carer?

A big Thank You to Huddersfield Giants for supporting the forum and helping us raise awareness of carers across the local area of Kirklees.

Registered Participants will receive log in details for the Zoom session via email the week before the session. (Please note you may miss visual presentations but we are happy to email out information to all delegates following the session.)

Will be great to see you at the forum as together we can make a difference for carers!
