This event is aimed at:
HR Managers or those responsible for HR, MD’s / CEOs, owners of small and medium sized businesses and Finance Directors with responsibility for HR.
This event considers the importance of having up-to-date employment contracts for the employees that you employ within your business. It sets out the correct approach to the construction of employment contracts and provides an overview of the remedies available to employees if contracts are not provided. The event will also focus on essential clauses that will help protect your business against unruly employees who may wish to compete with your business should their employment end.

About Ben Mason
Ben has experience in all areas of employment law and provides commercial and pragmatic advice to both commercial and individual clients across a wide range of sectors including financial, retail, IT, manufacturing and sport.
He advises on a wide range of employment law, including contentious and non-contentious work, and has experience in conducting and advising upon employment tribunal claims including complex discrimination claims, TUPE cases and unfair/constructive dismissal cases.
Ben also advises regularly on disciplinary and grievance procedures, restructuring and redundancy procedures, changes to terms and conditions, settlement agreements, and senior-level exits. He also has experience in conducting internal hearings for clients.
