To give managers an overview and greater understanding of employment law covering; discrimination, unfair dismissal, whistleblowing, family friendly rights etc.
To enable managers to gain confidence in knowing what they can do and to remain legally compliant, building on what has been learned in days 1 to 3.
Gives managers knowledge to understand their legal obligations, so management issues can be addressed confidently and within the law.
Explains the main areas of risk and how certain situations can be best approached to the benefit of the employer.

Jacqy has over 25 years of experience working with thousands of managers and leaders and helping them to achieve success through the application of people skills and good people processes. She is an NLP Master Practitioner, a Psychometric Test Practitioner to levels A & B, has a Certificate in Applied Neuroscience, a Post Grad qualification in HR and is a Fellow of the CIPD.
Emily has over 10 years’ experience in dealing with Employment Law matters, with particular specialism in contentious matters such as unfair dismissal, redundancy, settlement agreements, contractual issues, whistle-blowing and discrimination. She also advises on general employment law issues, such as; grievance / disciplinary / performance matters.

Are there ID requirements to enter the event?
Virgin Money requires a form of photo ID before they can grant access to the board room. This can be a passport or driving licence.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
The York Road car park offers a full day of parking for £8 and is a 5-minute walk from the venue.

What refreshments will be provided?
Tea, coffee, and cake will be provided at the venue. Lunch usually lasts 45-60 minutes. The venue is located in the centre of Guildford, so there are many cafes and some supermarkets within walking distance.
