Employment Law, Health & Safety and BHS Stable Managers Training Day

This day has been organized by Sarah Simpson BHSI who assesses at this level and has a clear understanding of the requirements of the exam. The speakers have been chosen and briefed carefully; they are experts in their area which will ensure the most up to date relevant information is given.
The day will be invaluable for anyone taking the SM exam, those working towards the SM or stage 4, and for educated individuals in the equestrian industry.
The day will run from 9 am till 4 pm. Tea, coffee and a cold buffet lunch will be provided.
If you are just looking for Employment Law advice you are more than welcome to book on the course between 11 am and 1 pm you are also welcome to stay for the free lunch
This course counts as CPD for the APC Register.

Sarah Simpson Covering SM exam
Peninsula Group Ltd experts in employment law. Mr. Andy Mclachlan will be explaining; the legislation regarding employing staff, s/e workers, contracts of employment, discipline & dismissing staff, employer and employee responsibilities toward H&S and COSHH.
The Peninsula presenters will be available over lunch to discuss any issues your business has experienced.
Sarah Simpson speaking on conformation; its impact on movement, soundness, and ability to withstand the rigour of competition. The SM exam, in section S1 requires you to evaluate horses fitness and in S4a&b give an evaluation for breeding and purchase. There will be a selection of horses from NRC to which to comment.
Mr Matthew Clark BSc Jump Jockey and Training Instructor at NRC will explain qualifying/or not anymore, the demands of a P2P, all aspects of fittening and producing horses fit and ready for a Point to Point.
