Event Details

This Spring Employment Law Update for 2019 will be hosted by Howes Percival at their offices at Rushmills in Northampton.  The update will be run twice in the same day so CIPD members have a choice of attending a breakfast session from 08:00 to 10:00 or an evening session from 18:00 to 20:00.

Howes Percival's Employment Team will be delivering this employment law update seminar. Here are some of the questions they will be answering in this training session:

• Can you dismiss an employee on long term sickness who is receiving PHI benefits?
• Are you ready for the upcoming pay reforms?
• When will dismissing an employee who tests positive on a drug test be unfair?
• What’s in the Government's Good Work plan?

Howes Percival's employment update seminars are presented in a jargon free way, with plenty of opportunities to ask questions. Aside from looking at key Tribunal decisions in their case law quiz, they will be reviewing new and proposed changes in legislation that will have practical implications for employers and HR professionals.

What is the event timing?

Registration will take place at 08:00 when refreshments will be served; the event will then run from 08:30 to 10:00. Please advice of any dietary requirements on booking.
