Employment Law Update/ Dorking group relaunch
Wed 15 March 2017, 18:45 – 21:00 GMT
The event will be in two parts:
1) 2017 Employment Update
2) Relaunch, Group Plans & Networking
1) An opportunity for attendees to ensure they are aware of the proposed changes ahead this year. There will be timely reminders ranging from the Modern Slavery Act, updates on the Trade Union Act, statutory payments from April, gender pay gap reporting, and looking ahead to items such as The Apprenticeship Levy and Shared (Grand) Parental Leave.
There will also be a brief Brexit update (employment specific) to finish this section.
2) Louise Wall and Martin Buckland (Co-Chairs) will set out their vision for the Dorking Group. This part of the event will be open to all attendees to contribute their requests, ideas, like & dislikes. Louise and Martin are keen to hear from members what they want the Dorking Group to do for them.
Afterwards there will be an opportunity to network and meet attendees – many of whom will be from the local and surrounding areas of Surrey.
Whilst all attendees (members or non-members) are always welcome, we hope that those based in Leatherhead, Reigate and Redhill will also want to attend the Dorking Group.
(Many thanks to Sussex Branch for raising awareness of this event in East Surrey - Reigate & Redhill).
