This session will focus on how Brexit is likely to affect immigration and employment law. Jane Hodge will respond to the latest information on the Brexit discussions by providing an expert update on the likely impact on both personal and business immigration and employment law. She will also offer advice on successfully negotiating current Home Office and HMRC issues.
Jane Hodge is Director and Head of Immigration, Employment and Sports Law at Biscoes Solicitors, with 25 years' experience in varied areas of law. Specialising in both personal and business immigration, Jane can advise companies and employers about their compliance with Home Office regulations, and individuals about their personal applications. As Vice-Chairman of Forces Law (an organisation dedicated to providing specialist legal advice to the armed forces) Jane can also offer expertise in Armed Forces Pensions on divorce, Military Crime and Courts Martial.
A partner at Biscoes since 2007, Jane also specialises in Sports Law following her passion for sport, and particularly football. As a Director of Gosport Borough Football Club in the National League South, she has relevant personal experience of the variety of legal issues and challenges that football provides. In addition to football, Jane can advise and assist on regulatory issues for clubs and associations in any sport and as an experienced advocate, she can represent players and clubs in disciplinary hearings. Jane is a member of the British Association of Sports Lawyers.

Coming into Portsmouth follow the signs for Gunwharf Quays. Turning right onto Park Road you will see the United Services Sports ground on your left. Continue down this road to the first set of traffic lights (junction with Burnaby Road). Turn right at the traffic lights under the railway arches and immediately on the left is the Registry Office. A large University car park is situated behind this building.
