VWV will update attendees on the latest developments in employment law and provide a look ahead at upcoming changes.

Guest Speakers:

Kathy Halliday, Partner, acts for a wide range of commercial clients and clients within the public sector and third sectors including schools and charities. She has particular expertise in managing complex projects, including TUPE advice, large scale redundancies and restructurings; and tribunal litigation, including multi applicant claims and complex discrimination issues.

Jane Byford, Partner, specialises in complex employment litigation, particularly discrimination issues and strategic HR projects, including internal disputes, senior recruitments and terminations, redundancies and restructurings and the employment implications of collaborations and mergers.

Lorna Scully, Senior Associate, provides employment law advice to clients in the public, private and third sectors. She acts on both contentious and non-contentious matters, regularly preparing, reviewing and advising on contracts of employment, policies, procedures, settlement agreements, and providing advice and assistance in dealing with disciplinary and grievance issues. She also has considerable expertise handling tribunal litigation.

Tom Brett Young, Partner, specialises in immigration law advising and assisting employers across all sectors on all aspects of UK immigration law such as preventing illegal working, Tier 2, 4 and 5 sponsorship, visa applications for senior and strategically important hires from overseas and preparing for the recruitment and retention issues arising from Brexit.

Places can be cancelled up to 1 week before the event, after that any non-member delegate fee of £15 is non-refundable
