This event focuses on debunking myths and stereotypes surrounding certain industries, qualifications and career paths. Are BTECs really equivalent to A-Levels? Will a degree in music really leave you unemployable? Are medicine and law the safest and most secure options for young people today? All of these and more will be answered by a panel of young people and industry professionals, sharing their stories and experience, as well as taking part in a debate consisting of open and anonymous questions by the audience, chaired by the Youth Ambassadors. The event will also allow time to network with the panellists, other invited members of various organisations who can help young people achieve their goals, and other aspiring young wave makers!

This event aims to change minds, challenge age-old ideas, be interactive, engaging and above all inspire the next generation to follow their dreams!
