Description

“We will not deny or defer to any man either Justice or Right.” Magna Carta, 1215 AD

The Supreme Court recently made a landmark decision: Employment Tribunal Fees are unlawful. This means that if you want to take a claim to an Employment Tribunal, you’ll no longer have to pay any fee.

What’s more, all fees that individuals or organisations have previously paid will be refunded. This will be a long and complicated process. It’s also likely that those who were put off bringing a claim in the past, because of the cost, might try and bring one now.

This update, along with the recent Taylor Review of employment law practices, could result in several changes to current law.

There’s lots for employers to think about, like:

  • How should they respond to this change in the Employment Tribunal Process?
  • What changes could the Taylor Review bring?
  • What support do they need to provide line managers to make sure they can turn policies into practices?
  • What impact do any changes have on the roles and responsibilities of management?

Our team of Employment and HR experts are presenting a free Q&A session on Tuesday 17th October to discuss and consider these questions.

The world of work is changing. There’ll be lots to catch up on following the summer break. Book onto our interactive Q&A session to get a head start.
