Marc Long is a Barrister and Partner at Clarke Willmott LLP. As Head of Employment, Marc has been appearing in the Employment Tribunal since 1995.

Marc is a qualified Barrister and was called to the Bar in 1995. He is also a Partner in Clarke Willmott’s Employment & HR Team. Apart from his advocacy, Marc is known for his TUPE expertise and his work on outsourcings and large scale staff restructurings involving collective consultation.
Marc lectures regularly on employment law and he has presented for CIPD, ACAS and many other bodies. He has also appeared on radio and television as an employment law expert. He is a member of the Employment Lawyer Association.
Marc will share his experiences of Tribunals and explain how to make a successful case, whether you are the Claimant or the Respondent. Marc will look at such matters as preparing your witnesses for the hearing, how to deal with cross-examination and when to the settle and when to fight on. Specifically, Marc will look at how HR professionals can make the difference between winning or losing a case for their employer.
At the end of the seminar, all attendees will not only understand how the Tribunal process works but they will know how to prepare their case in the best possible way.
