Michelle Ross, CliniQ Founder and Sarah Phillips, Director at CliniQ, welcome you to our 2nd webinar.
We are proud to be focusing on four inspirational trans women who have achieved so much to be who they are. They have gone on to bringing about a huge positive change and self-esteem for trans people. All are from different parts of the world and all are Empowered & Thriving Trans Women:
Miss saHHara
is a singer/songwriter, fashion model, beauty queen, the founder of TransValid.org, Uk Trans Awards and Miss Trans Global. A keen beauty and fashion enthusiast, she has cat-walked for numerous designers at London Fashion Week, graced the covers of several magazines, hosted and appeared in shows across Europe and Asia.
Alexandra R DeRuiz
is the program coordinator of Jauria Trans, a transgender program from Centro Cultural Border in Mexico City, and she is a published author in Spain, the United States and Mexico, She is also a freelance researcher, a Gender and Sexuality consultant, and an English/Spanish instructor and translator. Also, Alexandra is dedicated to do workshops and organize international conferences and community mobilizations in places like Europe, Asia, and Africa.
Dinah de Riquet-Bons
is a global hiv/sexworker/trans activist, lawyer, intersectional justice policy maker. Co Chair at Trans United Europe/Trans BPOC European network. Board Member at Pride Amsterdam, International committee sexworkers Rights Europe (ICRSE), The Global Network of Sex Work Projects (NSWP),and former Strategic director of Transgender Europe(TGEU) Berlin. She is the founder of the Trans United Gender clinic in Amsterdam.
Victoria Cordoba
I am a trans woman born in Argentina. I am based in London for over a decade. I am a Film and Broadcast production graduate. I have worked with transgender representation in arts and culture for the past 30 years both as a performer and organiser of events and activities that empower trans individuals. I recently joined CliniQ as part of the member staff and I am looking forward to work as a Life Coach/Mentor for the Trans community. In my spare time I am writing my Memoir.
