About this event

Culture-led community resilience is our focus—because when diverse communities lead with culture, resilience and recovery become more equitable and enduring. This panel explores how cultural strategies can drive just transformation, with a deep dive into how post-industrial places can be the spark. Sharing real-world models drawn from experience, a mix of planners, designers, and innovators initiate a call to co-create a toolkit for locally driven, people-powered change. Join us as Grimshaw’s David Dennis and Aaron Vaden-Youmans co-lead an interactive discussion with Eve Moros Ortega of Lord Cultural Resources, Adam Mekies of Sherwood Design Engineers, and Daniel Campo of Morgan State University
