Martin brings over two decades of leadership, strategy, and consultancy experience across sectors, ranging from grassroots organisations to large-scale corporate and government initiatives. He is recognised for equipping leaders to navigate change, foster resilience, and deliver sustainable impact.
In 2025, Martin worked with the Federation of International Translators to help the profession understand what a modern, proactive, and resilient association should look like. He conducted comprehensive research, engaging leaders and members worldwide to identify the core challenges facing translators and interpreters today, and developed data-driven insights to support the future-readiness for the sector.

Equipping Translators and Interpreters to Thrive and Succeed is a lively and impactful session and will tackle the realities of today’s landscape for translators and interpreters. Participants will face the social and technological pressures shaping the field, hearing from real examples. The program will emphasise key skills essential for success and professional resilience.
