Description

Weekend Retreat with Kadam John
at Tara KMC, Derbyshire

If we dream of a butterfly, the butterfly appears vividly in all its detail, but when we wake up we realise it was just an appearance to our mind. Buddha said that the same is true for all phenomena; they are mere appearances to mind.

Introduce and deepen our experience of Empathy, Compassion and Emptiness within retreat.

Escape your normal routine with a weekend away in the beautiful setting of Tara Kadampa Meditation Centre in Derbyshire. On this weekend retreat, Kadam John McBretney will guide you in teachings and meditations to transform your life. The retreat starts Friday evening. Everyone welcome.

These teachings are very suitable for those new to Buddhism as well as those who are already familiar with Buddhist teachings.

Kadam John McBretney is the resident teacher of Heruka KMC in London. He is an experienced meditation teacher and is respected for his peaceful mind and ability to give practical advice to solve our daily problems and find happiness.

Tara KMC is set within 38 acres of spacious lawns and woods at Ashe Hall, Derbyshire. This beautiful and peaceful location, within easy reach of London, is a wonderful place to find relief from the pressure and busyness of modern daily life.

This is a follow on from the day course in Heruka KMC on Sept 8th but you do not have to attend the day course to attend the weekend event.
