Event description

Description

This workshop aims to create a cultural shift to improve the confidence of supervisors and managers in supporting staff who may be experiencing mental health issues, thus enabling staff to feel more comfortable and trusting talking about their wellbeing.

We are delighted that David Beeney, who is a highly recommended speaker and has spoken at a variety of CIPD branches will be facilitating this inspiring workshop, the learning from which can support managers and colleagues on understanding and how to support mental health issues within the workplace.

David suffered for over thirty years, not wanting to tell his colleagues or employer that he was battling mental health problems due to embarrassment and fear of reprisals. He is now using his personal experiences, commercial background and business knowledge to reduce the stigma of mental health and help organisations implement mental health & wellbeing strategies within the workplace.

David is an inspiring renowned speaker who has generated some excellent reviews. For more information visit his website: www.breakingthesilence.co.uk
