Enabling Recruitment - Additional Roadshow (London)
Tue 23 May 2017, 10:00 – 15:30 BST
The vision of the Enabling Recruitment Project is to develop a central recruitment support and redeployment service, including a national system and website, which the wider church can use to find the right people for the right posts at the right time, more efficiently and cost effectively.
This workshop follows on from a series of regional roadshows to enable senior and key stakeholders (particularly those responsible for recruitment/HR) to find out more about the proposed offer and to help shape its development.
The first 90 mins of this additional workshop will enable those who have not had the opportunity to attend a workshop to date to find out more about the project. The rest of the workshop will focus on progress made over the past few months with mapping processes for recruitment and ministerial transitions processes and will provide an opportunity to clarify and develop these. This should be particularly useful for those dioceses taking part in the pilot phase of the project. Potential lead system users from those dioceses are encouraged to attend as part of the process of induction for the pilot phase.
The first session (10.00 – 11.30) will include:
- An introduction to what the vision could be with an opportunity for feedback on needs / concerns etc.
- Systems and digital presence
- Charging models
The second session (11.30 – c15.30), with a break for lunch will cover:
- Systems demonstration
- Emerging process maps for recruitment
- The developing model for the clergy transitions service
- An update on progress with developing systems to support vocational attraction.
- Next steps
Tickets can be reserved for either session or the whole day.
