Enabling Safe Business
Event Information
Description
How can we make sure information is available for our councils to do what they need to do in a safe and appropriate manner?
Public bodies face the same issues when it comes to handling sensitive information; by looking at the issue collectively we hope that a dialogue will emerge that leads to a harmonisation of policies and practices making it easier to deliver vital services.
Enabling Safe Business will explore the public services network and payment card industry codes of connection and changes to government protective marking and data protection regulation with the help of strategists from the Government’s main security policy agencies – ICO, CESG, and the Cabinet Office. It is free-to attend and will help Data Stewards, Senior Information Risk Managers, Heads of ICT, Information Governance and Information Security Managers navigate the complexity of balancing the needs to share against the requirement to protect information.
