‘Samhain’ (pronounced ‘sa-wain’) is the original ‘All Hallow’s Eve’, or Halloween; a festival of the ancient Celts marking the beginning of winter and a time to honour the ancestors, spirit worlds and in-between realms.
The Enchanted Samhain Nature Connection Experience is a guided journey into the heart of magical Dunfermline. Expect a blend of ritual, reflection, and play in the half-light between night and day.
First we’ll meet at White Mirror Scotland to enjoy a hot mug of mugwort tea. Mugwort is a Scottish and Irish plant, traditionally used in folk tradition and witchcraft to help with ‘third sight’ and visions.
As dusk falls, you’ll be invited to walk mindfully to a secret location.
Here you will tune your senses to whispering trees and the crunch of fallen leaves beneath your feet. Through guided nature-connection activities, storytelling, and gentle ritual, you will rekindle your bond with the land and the spirits who live there.
Afterwards, we’ll head back to White Mirror to share our experience over some hot chocolate.
This is a mystical journey and a celebration of belonging, transformation, and reverence for both the living world and the dead.
