About this event
Take time this autumn equinox to help yourself find greater balance and come home to your body. A trauma sensitive, whole-self approach to pelvic wellbeing that focusses on space, nervous system regulation and opens possibilities for play, selfcare and deep connection.
What if pelvic wellbeing was about unwinding, releasing, building awareness and connecting with your playful, sensual self?
Not a kegel in sight...
As we go through life's changes, our bodies adapt cleverly to manage the ways that we move (or sit) through life. Working with the body is a massive gaemchanger. Especially as pelvic floor happiness isn't a one-and-done thing. It's an evolving part of us - especially as hormones shift in midlife.
The real key is building awareness, allowing space for softness and a kinder approach.
There's so much more to our amazing pelvises than just squeezing harder. Your breath, your nervous system and the way you move all have their parts to play.
This is for you...
Do you ever feel somewhow out of sync with your body, and yourself?
You spend a lot of time in your head, in logic-mode, but long to slow down — disappear into the woods or run away with the circus. You enjoy yoga, but aren’t sure which movements actually support your pelvic wellbeing. Things feel stiffer, achier. Some parts of your system just aren’t working quite like they used to.
Let me say this clearly: You are not broken. And this day isn’t about “fixing” anything.
It’s about giving yourself time, space, and new ways to explore what feels good and supportive as your body changes (which it is - we are in constant flux).
This day is even more especially for you if these things chime:
- You’re in midlife and want to reconnect with your body
- You spend a lot of your day sitting
- You experience back pain or pelvic discomfort
- You’ve had difficulties in your pelvis in the past, such as after birth
- You’re up for full-body smiles, letting go, and playful movement
This small-group workshop is created with women approaching midlife in mind - those who crave more joy, movement and connection.
Whoever you are, if you’re drawn to this and open to exploring pelvic awareness in a kind and respectful space, you’re warmly welcome.
No experience necessary - a hoop to keep is included in your booking.
Spaces are limited, you are warmly invited to join - any questions just get in touch.
Frequently asked questions
Not at the venue - please check parkopedia and public transport links.
Apologies - Bath's not easy to secure accessible rooms in. This venue is up a flight of stairs so could be tricky to access for some. If you have other access needs please let me know and I'll do my best to acommodate.
No, some snacks will be available - please let me know if you have any allergies.
Emilie's experienced in working with people with leaks, prolapse, sneeze wees etc. This session is adaptable for all those issues but is mainly focussed on prehab, awareness building and play. Get in touch if individual coaching would suit you better.
If you're in the early stages after having a baby (i.e. the first few months) it may not be the right thing for you. Happy to chat. It's not a session for babies to join, but if baby needs to visit for a feed that's totally fine and welcomed.
That's OK! This is not prescriptive, in fact it's the opposite and will include info and movements that are intuitive and principles based so would be a great option for you.
Great. This is still a good option for you if you'd like to explore movement and pelvic awareness. Feel free to message if you have any querstions.
While some of this session would wor for you, other bits won't be suited. I do run a monthly workshop in Bristol and you'd be welcome to join that.
This session will be trauma informed, but also may have moments of depth. If you join you will not be the only person in the room who has had traumatic experiences. All participation is optional. Its not therapy, and that's recommeded if you are experiencing symptoms at the moment.
