Event description

Description

Churches in and around the Diocese of Chester are warmly invited to an ecumenical day conference on science and faith. This event is being organized by Scientists in Congregations project members, at St John’s Lindow (Wilmslow) in collaboration with the Bishop of Chester, Dr Peter Forster, who will give the opening address. Other invited speakers include: Prof. Sir Colin Humphreys, CBE, FRS, FREng (Cambridge), Dr Ruth Bancewicz (The Faraday Institute), Prof. Roger Barlow (Huddersfield) and Prof. David Watts (Manchester).
This is an opportunity to hear eminent mainstream scientists who are also committed Christians - that have thought deeply about the relationship between their science and their faith.
