Encraft are launching a series of half-day training sessions to develop skills in delivering low energy buildings. Sessions will be repeated at least twice a year; keep an eye on Eventbrite or our website for dates of sessions.
What's it about?
Low energy buildings provide many more options for heating provision as the demand is so low. In fact overheating is often of greater concern. They are also usually built with high levels of air tightness and so will require careful ventilation design. The session will give an overview of the range of heating, ventilation and hot water options as well as some design considerations, practicalities and commissioning issues.
The session will be led by Steven Coulsting, a senior consultant at Encraft, and architect with twenty one years’ experience in the field of building conservation. Steven joined Encraft in 2011 to pursue an abiding environmental interest of his: improving the energy performance of buildings.
Tickets cost £99 + VAT and must be purchased in advance. Early booking is strongly advised as there are a limited number of spaces.
For delegates wishing to attend three or more sessions, a discount is available at 10% on each session; please contact Encraft for a discount code that can be applied at checkout. (Contact details below)
A copy of the joining instructions for the morning will be sent to all registered delegates closer to the event. Light refreshments will be available on arrival.
