Encraft's Training Programme: Introduction to PHPP for domestic/residential
Tue 7 February 2017, 09:00 – 12:00 GMT
Encraft are delivering a series of half-day training sessions to develop skills in delivering low energy buildings. Sessions will be repeated at least twice a year; keep an eye on Eventbrite or our website for dates of sessions.
What's it about?
This session introduces the Passivhaus Planning Package (PHPP) workbook that is used to model the energy performance of buildings. The session aims to give the participant an overview of each of the spreadsheets used to create a residential PHPP model and will go through how the major spreadsheets are completed. A basic understanding of Passivhaus and Excel spreadsheets is recommended.
The session will be led by Archie Corliss, a consultant at Encraft who works across the Building Physics and Distributed Energy teams. Archie joined Encraft in January 2015 after graduating from Warwick University with a BSc in Mathematics and Physics. He has experience in Passivhaus Consultancy, PHPP modelling and other building physics techniques.
Tickets cost £99 + VAT and must be purchased in advance. Early booking is strongly advised as there are a limited number of spaces.
For delegates wishing to attend three or more sessions, a discount is available at 10% on each session; please contact Encraft for a discount code that can be applied at checkout. (Contact details below)
A copy of the joining instructions for the morning will be sent to all registered delegates closer to the event. Light refreshments will be available on arrival.
