Encraft are launching a series of half-day training sessions to develop skills in delivering low energy buildings. Sessions will be repeated at least twice a year; keep an eye on Eventbrite or our website dates of sessions.
What's it about?
A training session for planners and non-technical professionals covering all the major large-scale renewable technology systems for the built environment. Delegates will gain an understanding of:
• how the technologies work
• the situation in which each technology is best placed
• inherent scheme risks such as likely environmental impacts
• how to calculate whether the technology is likely to meet energy or carbon targets.
The session will be led by Kate Ashworth, Head of Distributed Energy Projects and Partner at Encraft. She is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer with a degree in Engineering Design, and has been involved with renewable energy technology since 2010; with specialised expertise in smart and distributed energy systems, and renewable heat.
Tickets cost £99 + VAT and must be purchased in advance. Early booking is strongly advised as there are a limited number of spaces.
For delegates wishing to attend three or more sessions, a discount is available at 10% on each session; please contact Encraft for a discount code that can be applied at checkout. (Contact details below)
A copy of the joining instructions for the morning will be sent to all registered delegates closer to the event. Light refreshments will be available on arrival.
