This date is for the first 2 sessions of 5 in Ashgate Hospice’s End of Life Care Education Programme. It is recommended that participants attend all five sessions. Completion of the full programme will be recognised.
This date will cover:
- Session 1 - Advance care planning: exploring what we need to know about people to enable holistic care, the legal aspects of decision making, and clinical care planning.
- Session 2 - Recognising dying: how we identify when someone is dying, appropriate escalation, and coordinating care effectively.
Target audience: Tier 2 training for registered health and social care professionals.
Facilitators: Delivered by Ashgate Hospice’s End of Life Care Facilitators in partnership with Ageing Well. Some sessions may include guest speakers.
Venue: Day Services, Ashgate Hospice
Free parking available on site.
Cost: Free of charge (suggested donation £5 to help cover costs).
