End of life care training for carers working across the care sector
Many carers working in the care sector provide end of life care and support to people. We want to encourage and equip you to do this incredible work. Join us on Friday 16th January 2026 on Zoom where we'll look at advance care planning and communication, spotting the signs of deterioration, how to care for someone who is dying and how to care for ourselves and those around us. The training will be from 9.30am (although please join at 9.20am to check devices are working) and will complete by 14.30.
It'll be interactive learning so come ready to fully engage and share. A certificate can be provided on completion. This training is provided by an experienced palliative care nurse. Numbers are restricted so if you book a spot, please make sure you're able to attend if possible. Please email hello@christiansincare.org if you're unable to attend so your space can be given to someone else.
This training is provided completely free of charge to individual carers. If organisations book staff onto this training, we'd like you to consider contributing to the cost of this training and suggest a £30 per person donation. If you'd like to make a donation to the work of Christians in Care, we would be very grateful. Please follow this link to our website: https://www.christiansincare.org/donate
You'll receive an email with the Zoom link nearer the time.
