Overview

Calm Evenings for Teachers: No more doom scrolling, indecision spirals or late night work thoughts.

Ending the overstimulation that leaves you scrolling dinner options on the sofa, stuck in indecision and mentally replying to parent emails at 10pm.

This is for you if...

• You finish school wired, exhausted, or both, and cannot switch off no matter how hard you try.

• Your evenings disappear into doom scrolling, decision paralysis or mindless Netflix that does not actually relax you.

• You mentally reply to parent messages at 10pm even though you know you should stop.

• You want calmer evenings but every time you try to change something, your brain feels too tired to start.

• You live abroad and the overstimulation of international school life, cities and constant change leaves your nervous system on high alert.

• You keep telling yourself “Tomorrow I will do better,” but tomorrow looks exactly the same.

• You want more joy in your evenings, but right now they feel like recovery zones rather than real life.

• You are ready to understand your patterns, stop blaming yourself and find small shifts that actually work for your brain and your lifestyle.

This masterclass gives international teachers a rare moment to pause and truly recognise the evening patterns that are draining you, numbing you and keeping you stuck on autopilot.

The hour lost scrolling Grab or Ele.me without choosing a single thing. The Netflix “watching” that is really just staring. The mental replies to parent emails at 10pm. The quiet zoning out while your partner talks because your brain is still sprinting. These habits are not flaws, they are survival responses.

And together, we will begin to rework them. Through simple, grounding activities, you will explore what your evenings could feel like, what actually restores you, and what small, doable shifts are within your control. The aim is to help you switch off your teacher brain and rebuild evenings that feel calmer, lighter and genuinely yours again.

You will walk away with:

• A clear understanding of why your evenings feel so hard, so you stop blaming yourself and start working with your brain instead of fighting it.

• A grounded picture of what calm evenings actually look and feel like for you, not a Pinterest version, but something realistic within your current life abroad.

Relief from the constant background noise. Fewer mental replies to emails at 10pm. Less scrolling without meaning to. More presence in your own space.

• Clarity on what is draining you versus what genuinely restores you, so your energy stops leaking away without you noticing.

• Confidence about what you can control and what you can let go of, which alone creates a sense of calm and steadiness.

• A personalised Evening Reset Plan that shows you exactly where to start, even when you are tired, overwhelmed, or low on motivation.

• A small set of realistic actions that fit your lifestyle, your school demands, and your nervous system, not another plan you feel guilty for not sticking to.

• The feeling of having closed some mental tabs, so your evenings stop being recovery zones and start feeling like real life again.

You will not leave with pressure to overhaul everything.
You will leave knowing what to do immediately, and why it matters.
