Do I have to have a diagnosis of endometriosis to attend?

Accepted Answer

No, you are welcome to attend if you have suspected endometriosis, are awaiting surgical intervention or other investigations and if you are struggling with symptoms similar to endometriosis and want to find out more.

Is it easy to park at Station House Health & Wellbeing?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we have a car park on site and there is a lay-by outside and on-street parking opposite the building. When using the car park, please feel free to block in other cars if needed as we will be able to fit more cars on site.

How accessible is the site?

Accepted Answer

There are a couple of steps into the property and the workshop & facilities are on the 1st floor. If you struggle with climbing or descending stairs, please contact us first to discuss your options.

Question 4

Can I bring a friend?

Accepted Answer

Yes, you can bring a friend but they will need to book a ticket as space is limited in this free workshop room.

Question 5

What should I wear?

Accepted Answer

There is an opportunity to try some of the self-management techniques, including movement, stretching, breath work and self massage. Please wear clothing that is easy to move in such as exercise leggings and a t-shirt. You don't have to participate but the option will be there for everybody.

Question 6

Will I have to answer any personal or medical questions?

Accepted Answer

No, this is a group session where we will be providing you with information, advice and support. You can ask any question and share your experience if you wish, but we will not require you to share any medical or personal information with the group.

Question 7

Will you contact my doctor or nurse?

Accepted Answer

No, we will run the workshop separately from your other interventions. However, if you decide to book a one-one assessment, we will discuss sharing of medical reports and information when you attend for that appointment.
