Endosymbiotic Love LIVE, with Yasmin and RJ
Event Information
About this Event
About The Event:
Endosymbiotic Love Calendar brings performance artists & microbiologists together to embody a microorganism for every month of 2021. This art + science collaboration takes the form of a 2021 wall calendar, film series and live streamed chat show, and delves into the (renewed public awareness of the) microbial world and the fragile interdependence of our coexistence on this planet.
The project makes it’s official debut on Endosymbiotic Love LIVE with Yasmine & RJ (4th of December at 7pm). Hosted by parasitologist Yasmine Kumordzi, and performer RJ Lloyd, this chat show will feature microbial sketches, interviews, and a live Q&A. This event will be live streamed over YouTube. And if that is not enough, there will also be a COMPETITION where you can bag yourself a free Calendar! So, grab your tickets to this LIVE streamed chat show (here on Eventbrite) for an evening of wild entertainment.
Head to our shop page to order your calendar in time for Christmas! https://domesticscience.org.uk/ELC-Buy.html. 50% of the price you pay for the calendar will be donated to The Outside Project, the UK’s first LGBTIQ+ Crisis/Homeless Shelter and Community Centre: www.lgbtiqoutside.org
A link to watch the event will be sent to you two days before.
