Join us to celebrate the creation of over £800,000 endowment for Barking and Dagenham!

The endowment fund, which will be managed by us at BD Giving*, will generate an annual income for the community to use for causes that matter to them.

You're invited to a creative online event to celebrate this new opportunity for local people to take a lead on building a stronger B&D for themselves, their families and future generations.

There will be:

• Short, creative performances from 5 local groups on the theme “What does Barking & Dagenham look like when we give power to the people?”
• Speeches from BD Giving's CEO and the Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Community Leadership and Engagement, Cllr Saima Ashraf

Join us on 27th January to celebrate this significant moment for the people of B&D.

*Barking & Dagenham Giving is the platform for anyone who has a stake in the borough to get involved in addressing local issues. The endowment fund is just one way that we are working to give power to the people of B&D.
