This is a full training session, covering the following:
- Defining fuel poverty
- Identifying clients in fuel poverty
- Providing advice to clients in fuel poverty
- Sources of help
- Referral options for further advice and support
- Q&A
The training is recommended for frontline staff and volunteers, particularly those who work with vulnerable clients in their homes, e.g. social workers, social prescribers, care and healthcare workers, befrienders etc.
The training is offered free of charge as part of the Citizens Advice Energy Outreach Project in England and Wales.
