Free Fuel Poverty training especially for community spaces

Dorset Community Action and Citizens Advice East Dorset & Purbeck are joining together to help tackle the problem with the Energy Outreach Project.Participants on our courses learn how to recognise people struggling with fuel poverty and offer the right support. People volunteering and working in community spaces are ideally placed to help people. People running warm spaces & drop ins or helping at community events will benefit from learning to spot the signs of fuel poverty.

We give them the tools to make swift referrals to the correct help. The training is free to attend for anyone working or volunteering in a frontline role with service users, especially the most vulnerable. Everyone will receive a pack of information after the presentation that will enable them to offer information and signpost people to the help they need.
