Thursday 26 October at 18:00 for 18:30 until 21.00
Barnard’s Inn Hall, Gresham College, Holborn EC1N 2HH

EnergyTech means pulling together the financial, technological and creative ingredients for sustainable human solutions. This means regulating banks and insurers, catalysing innovators and mobilising the kinds of design thinking that will impress consumers, boost uptake and ensure a high multiplier of impact.

Our panel blends the necessary ingredients of financial markets regulation, technological innovation at scale and grass roots creativity.

Hayley Ard takes the following speakers through the issues:

Matt Scott, leads climate change adaption and sustainable investment at the Bank of England’s Prudential Regulation Authority. Among his key themes at the bank is how to move past the “stranded assets” paradigm and unlock practical moves among insurers and financial markets players, as a catalyst for sustainability in the real economy.
