I 'll be introducing a range of gentle, yet invigorating movements aimed at improving your energy levels, balancing mind, body and spirit, as well as maintaining blood, nutrients and life-force circulation.
Many of us have a great deal of tension due to heavy workloads, chaotic and pressured lifestyles, environmental toxins and a lack of work/life balance. All these factors can contribute to imbalances in the mind, body and spirit and this can lead to dis-ease. The classes are truly time for YOU!.
Energy cultivation is a holistic therapy which works to invigorate the meridian pathways in the body, infusing energy and creating the free-flow of vital power. Energy work has been known to help boost immunity, eliminate toxins, relax the muscles, strengthen ligaments, boost mental power, address organ system imbalances, strengthen the nervous system, help you create a sense of peace and balance and much, much more.
Each week you will be gently guided by Award Winning Holistic Health Practitioner Imani Sorhaindo who has been studying and practising Qi Cultivation for 23 years and has now made it part of daily living for longevity and wellness. Greatly inspired by the Energy Healing and Meditation Work taught by Ra Un Nefer Amen, author of Qi Gong Healing Prescription, Qi Gong Success, Healing is in the Spirit and Stress Free for Life. She has also been guided by Dr Napata who teaches Nu Shu Ra.
Imani is also a qualified instructor with the Universal Healing Tao led by Grandmaster Mantak Chia; where she trained in Wisdom Qi Gong and Cranial-Sacrum Qi Gong. She is also a Mindfulness Teacher, Holistic Health Therapist, Author and Lifecoach. She is the programme coordinator for a voluntary organisation called MNPC which delivers Mindful practice and transcending grief programmes internationally. Imani's work has impacted hundreds of clients in a range of settings, and some of the partners who have collaborated with her to support their clients and employees include National Teachers Union, Healthwatch Lambeth, MNPC, Suffolk Rape Crisis, Lighthouse Domestic Violence, Future Female Society, The HIVE, Inside Out Mental Health, Family Carers, Salford MIND, Manchester Mindfulness, Refugee Council, Karibu African Women's group and CACHSF to name just a few. Imani also teaches classes live in East London at the Good Hotel.
