Event description
Join us to hear about why and how we can be making our ports more energy efficient, reducing CO2 emissions and improving air quality

About this Event

The Ports Energy Carbon Savings Project, funded by Interreg 2 Seas aims to develop and to test different tools and technologies in order to reduce the carbon footprint of the SME ports and marinas, and to make their functioning more energy-efficient in a cost-effective way.

On Wednesday 6th November we will have a morning of speakers and discussions to address challenges in improving air quality and reducing CO2 emissions. After lunch you are invited to a tour of the energy saving Roll On Roll Off Link span and surrounding port area. The rest of the afternoon will include demonstrations of tools designed to help identify carbon savings (and likely cost saving) and energy cooperation models.
